After a traumatic accident that resulted in the loss of my leg, I quickly realized just how much support my dog provided me.
I created a pair of nesting blocks that resembled my new form and my dog, his figure filling the space where my leg once was.
Some people can be apart from their dog… other people cannot!

These paired figures are meant to be symbolic, decorative, and a gift that becomes meaningful simply because of how meaningful our canine companions are in life. That, and the materials and silhouettes are quite nice, too.
